Regulatory and Legal Issues for Pilots

The Regulatory and Legal Issues for Pilots interactive one-day course provides harbor pilots an overview of federal, state, and international pilotage regulations and addresses current regulatory issues. Pilots participate in a mock trial to understand what could be expected in the event of an incident and steps which should be taken right after an incident. This course was developed in conjunction with Captain Sam Stephenson, J.D. a Port Everglades Pilot and a maritime expert with years of extensive experience in maritime litigation.
