Fire Resource Management

Fire Resource Management was developed for the professional firefighter as a commitment to change fire and emergency service leadership and operating cultures. Based on a concept originally implemented in the aviation industry, the course is designed to address factors that are continually found to be contributing factors in NIOSH Firefighter Line of Duty Death reports (LODD). Designed to address communication failures, poor decision making, lack of situational awareness and leadership failures, FRM’s goals are to minimize the effects or human error and maximize crew performance.
