Vessel, Company, and Facility Security Officer (VSO/CSO/FSO)

This Vessel, Company, and Facility Security Officer course is intended to provide the knowledge required for personnel who are assigned responsibilities as Vessel, Company, and Facility Security Officer (VSO/CSO/FSO) to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002.

Those attending this course are credentialed mariners who are employed (or are to be employed) by a vessel owner or operator and who are likely to be designated as Company, Facility, or Vessel Security Officers.

C/F/V Security Officer is in compliance with the USCG Elements of Requests for Maritime Security Training Course and the following standards:

• Regulations 13.1, 13.2 and 18.1 (Part A and B) of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code
• Model Course MTSA 08-01, Vessel Security Officer
• IMO Model Course 3.19, Ship Security Officer
• IMO Model Course 3.20, Company Security Officer
• IMO Model Course 3.21, Port Facility Security Officer
• STCW Convention 1978, as amended 2010, Regulation VI/5, and STCW Code Section A-VI/5 and Table VI/5
